Olenegorsk is a city in the Murmansk Region, located north of the Arctic Circle, 112 km from the regional center. Its emergence, development, and entire life are inextricably linked to iron ore mining. 

This analytical work is aimed at identifying areas for infrastructure development and assessing the prospects for the city’s master plan, taking into account its specific conditions. Outflow

The main focus in the social infrastructure section is on improving the quality of the urban environment and expanding opportunities for leisure and work. 

The proposed measures will help both encourage residents of Olenegorsk not to move away or to return to the city, and to attract tourists, and possibly new residents as well.
