Obninsk town centre development project stipulates that a modern mixed-use urban space with a square, pedestrian streetsand boulevards is to be created. 

The main square with a central water body is shaped by the existing House of Scientists, a cultural centre and a mixed-useresidential complex with public functions assigned to the ground floors.

The high-rise residential complex is the urban development concept dominant. It stands right on the axis of Marx Avenue – the main street of the town.

Through this urban development decision the interests of residents, developers and land owners have been harmonized and the new public space of the town shaped.
