Town central market Karavay is located in the very centre of Naro-Fominsk at the intersection of Lenina Street and Svobody Square. The project is implemented in accordance with the town central part spatial development strategy devised by Jauzaproject company in 2014.

A mixed-use internal public space of the building allows holding the town major events on the square inside the market. Facades are designed in the style of the Silk Factory historical buildings located opposite the city market. As part of the market building project, the town centre streetscape has been improved, a modern traffic roundabout organized.
