The project includes the creation of a full-fledged urban environment. New public spaces are to connect the existing town microdistrict with the new park along Marx Avenue and the central town park next to the House of Scientists. 

The project is a reflection of such principles of a comfortable environment as a clear division between private courtyards and urban public space, a car-free courtyard, residential buildings ground floors intended as locations for retail outlets and various social functions, mid-rise quarters in the city or town centre, modern facade decisions. 

Such architecture and urban development decision realization in the town centre is to ensure the status of Obninsk as the first science town of Russia.
